World At Arms combines the resource management of city-building with real-time strategy and combat. The over-the-top setting has the United States doing battle against a newly formed superpower that threatens to take over the world. 

 
 
 

CHALLENGE: GOING FROM SUPER SERIOUS TO KINDA SILLY

I was brought in to help lighten the tone of the game, which was set in the U.S. after a nuclear attack. While the game was still about building up the base and annihilating the other players' armies, I added lighthearted dialogue and quest text that focused less on the dire need of avenging your home country and more about giving the ridiculously evil bad guys what they deserve.
