CHANGING THE WAY PATIENTS AND DOCTORS COMMUNICATE DISEASE PROGRESSION

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is an under-diagnosed, incurable, and life-threatening lung disease that interferes with normal breathing. The severity of COPD symptoms--such as coughing and breathlessness--can be difficult to describe, and many patients are ashamed of their disease. This results in a communication gap between patients and physicians. As Lead Copywriter, I designed and wrote two tools that would help facilitate the important conversations between patients and physicians.
